Advent season is here and it’s time to prepare. In this season of preparation, the Youth group and Sunday school join forces to step into the story of Jesus’ birth through scripture, storytelling, play-making, art, and music. All students will participate in the Christmas pageant to the level and ability that makes sense and is comfortable for them. There is a role and a place for every body. Members of the Junior and Cherub choir will have special named roles and solos, and lead the musical aspects of the ensemble. Performative roles, narration roles, and backstage / creator roles available as well.
Pageant preaparation includes gathering as a community, learning about the story, practicing the parts, the songs, and the staging, and creating art as an whole youth and children’s community.
Pageant Dress Rehearsal, Saturday Dec 21 from 10AM-12PM (Cherubs only called for first hour.)
Pageant Sunday, Dec 22 during 10AM service. Students arrive at 9AM to costume and warm up.
