Love

Rob's wonderful sermon on love and forgiveness last Sunday reminded me of one saying taped to my bathroom mirror among various prayers and poems that touch my heart. It's from one of Jan Karon's Mitford Series books. I loved these books so much that I gave them to my elderly mother to read as there was no sex, violence or swear words. They are about Father Tim Kavanagh, an Episcopal priest in a small town in North Carolina. Buried in one of the last books in the series was this sentence:

”Love is an endless act of forgiveness.”
