I hope those that are on school vacation are having some fun and relaxation. I know vacation weeks can be great… and also a lot! Sometimes jobs don’t align quite right and parents can feel the weight of things in a whole different way. Whichever side you find yourself on, know you can always come to church on Sunday and reach out for support anytime.
As a general update for our spring season, we will be hosting Sunday school for 7 remaining Sundays (May 1 - June 12). This will get us through the big Sunday of Pentecost and into our first “summer sunday.” On June 12th, we begin our summer schedule hosting an end-of-program year gathering for students complete with our celebratory performance of the kids’ musical review they’ll continue working on over the next month+.
Some highlights of this timeframe include:
Sunday May 8th - Mother’s Day
Sunday May 22nd - Rite 13 Ceremony
Sunday June 5th - Pentecost Sunday
Sunday June 12th - end of program year / first “summer sunday” / musical review
I’m so grateful for you all in whatever capacity you find yourself at church this season - this year has been interesting and you have been the glue keeping us together with your presence, talents, flexibility, and good humor.
