Church services for all
On Sunday, Christmas Eve, December 24, we will host 4 separate church services. Each service is a unique offering, so please look through the options to determine which worship experience feels most inviting. And then on Christmas Morning, Monday, December 25, there is a delicious breakfast served in Thaxter Hall all morning, followed by another service at 10:00AM.
We encourage you to look over these different offerings and make a plan for your Christmas Eve and Christmas Day that brings you into the miracle of God-With-Us, welcoming community, and beautiful music!

The Fourth Sunday in Advent
8:00AM Holy Eucharist Rite One
A spoken service to mark the Fourth Sunday in Advent, still following the liturgy for Advent. This service will be live-streamed.
Family Service with Children's Choir
4:00PM Holy Eucharist Rite Two
Come feel the room vibrate with joy and anticipation! This service rings with the music of organ, trumpet, and our own children's voices, reprising songs from the Christmas Pageant. Children and families feel welcome to celebrate together, with joyful music and a message perfect for all ages.
Celebration Service with Brass and Choir
8:00PM Musical Prelude
8:30PM Holy Eucharist Rite Two
Settle into the atmosphere of peace and harmony, warmth and light during the half-hour musical prelude featuring organ, brass quintet, the voices of the gifted St. John's Parish Choir, and congregational hymns. The Service of Holy Eucharist begins at 8:30, in festive celebration! This service will be live-streamed.
Midnight Mass with Vocal Quartet

Christmas Day Worship Service
10:00AM Holy Eucharist Rite Two with Hymns
Come back to the sanctuary in the light of day to celebrate the miracle that has come. Worship on a full and warm belly highly recommended!

Please note that St. John's office will be closed for a holiday break from December 22-January 1. The week after Christmas we will also rest our Daily Reflections and all digital content including livestreams, resuming as usual on January 2, 2024.
