“great day,” moses hogan

ST. JOHN’S PARISH CHOIR, FEATURING MORGAN KING

This past Sunday, May 19, those attending our Rite II Service of Holy Eucharist were treated to a special rendition of Moses Hogan's "Great Day" by the Parish Choir of St. John's, featuring soprano soloist Morgan King.

Morgan has been our soprano Choral Scholar for the past eight (8!) years, dating back to when she was still an undergraduate student in the music department at UNH. We have been beyond blessed by Morgan's talent, her positive attitude, her ebullient spirit, and consistent presence and love.

Morgan won't be returning as a weekly singer next fall and for that we are sad, but we celebrate the fact that she's become such an integral part of our choir family over these past 8 years, and look forward to her presence at several Garden services this summer, and many of our choir-centric services in the years to come. It's not goodbye, it's see you later on down the road!

Thank you, Morgan!
