Alcoholics Anonymous Meeting

  • Thaxter Hall 101 Chapel Street Portsmouth, NH 03801 (map)

Alcoholics Anonymous of Coastal New Hampshire holds a weekly meeting in Thaxter Hall. For more information visit: http://www.seacoastaa.org/meetings/portsmouth-original-beginner-meeting/?tsml-day=6&tsml-region=portsmouth

Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.

The only requirement for AA membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions.

AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy; neither endorses nor opposes any causes.

Our primary purpose is to stay sober and to help other alcoholics achieve sobriety.

AA of Coastal New Hampshire

www.seacoastaa.org supports the groups in New Hampshire’s (Area 43) district 14, which covers the towns of: Exeter NH, the NH Hamptons, Kittery ME, New Castle NH, Newington NH, Portsmouth NH, Rye NH, Seabrook NH, and Stratham NH.
