Join us for food, community, celebration and an Advent bulb activity!
Each Fall St. John’s gathers together for a parish dinner to give thanks for this community, share stories about the year past and prepare our hearts for the busy holiday season ahead. All are welcome and encouraged to attend. Additionally, The Rev. Aaron Jenkyn will lead us in a simple and meaningful activity to prepare for the season of Advent. All ages are invited and encouraged to plant an Advent flower bulb to take home with them. When brought out of the darkness and into the light, the life bursts forth from the bulb and throughout the season you can observe this quiet growth, waiting for the bloom to stretch toward the light between Christmas and Epiphany. Whether you are new to St. John’s or a long-time member, we hope you can join us for this special night!
