Our service of Holy Eucharist (Rite II) begins at 9:30am in the garden at Strawbery Banke (weather permitting). Please bring your own chair and join us on the lawn overlooking the Goodwin Garden at 9:30. In the case on inclement weather, the service will be held in the sanctuary at St. John’s.
Holy Eucharist "Rite II" is the version of the liturgy using more modern American language, defined in the current Book of Common Prayer published in 1979.
Summer Sundays are HERE!! That means we will transition from ‘Coffee’ Hour to ‘Lemonade’ Hour! If you enjoy the time to check in with fellow parishioners and to meet new folks, please sign up to host a brief gathering directly after the 9:30 services this summer. We will gather on the lovely new back patio at St. John's, through Robert's Hall (inside if raining) and beginning July 2nd, we will gather at Strawbery Banke after the service.
Cups and napkins will be at St. John's to use, all you'll need to do is grab a card table in Thaxter Hall and provide the lemonade. No table needed in the garden. If you are so inclined, simple cookies can be offered as well, but not necessary. Please sign up in Thaxter Hall!!!
