Ground Breaking Ceremony

  • St. John's Episcopal Church 100 Chapel Street Portsmouth, NH, 03801 (map)

Please join us for a joyful and historic celebration!

On Thursday, July 22nd at 11:30AM (rain or shine), we will break ground on the project that will not only connect our two buildings with a lovely and useful fellowship hall but will also provide accessibility for ALL by adding an elevator. After the past 15 months, we could all use an uplifting and inspirational event.

You are invited to join us for the celebratory groundbreaking and lunch at our Common Table. Throughout the dark months of the pandemic, Common Table has continued to provide meals-to-go for all in the parking lot, and we invite you to witness their work and to share a meal.

The groundbreaking marks the joining of our two buildings, and the symbolism is not lost on us. We hope that the connecting building will not only be a uniter of bricks and mortar, but also a unifying bridge to a community that extends beyond this beautiful Church on the Hill.

Come if you can and help celebrate the good work of many people who seek to make our world a better place for all. (RSVP not required. Registration encouraged.)
