Over the past months the staff and clergy of St. John’s have been keeping a close eye on the progression of the highly-transmittable coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) and its spread. We actively track the updates from the Center for Disease Control (CDC), follow guidelines from The Episcopal Church and our Diocese, and listen to concerned members of our community. We will continue to do so and take the appropriate steps. The heart of our mission is to love God, love one another, and to share that love with our wider community.
Bag lunches available for pick-up from the Thaxter parking lot from 12-1 pm on Thursday.
NEXT WEEK, October 6th, dining at Common Table with re-open!
Volunteers and chefs are ready to offer both indoor dining and bag lunches. The doors of Thaxter Hall open on October 6 for the sit down lunch that will be served at noon. Come earlier for a cup of coffee and conversation! Bag lunches will be offered as well in the parking lot at 12:30pm. Our mission states “We welcome all to a nutritious meal served in a joyful environment, feeding body and soul within a caring community.”
NOTE: Common Table needs volunteers to help bake cookies and clean aprons and towels. Call Judy Roberts at 603-777-2796 or Suzi Raeside at 207-475-6163 if you would like to help.
