Join our Clergy in the Philbrick Room on Sundays at 11:30a and in Thaxter Hall at 5pm for our Lenten Series Vocabulary of our Faith. Using the book 'Wishful Thinking - A Seeker's ABC's' by Frederick Buechner as a guide, we will explore our faith in conversation as we reflect on a different word each week. The conversations will last about an hour. The evening conversation will conclude with a soup and bread dinner and Compline at 7p.

GRACE

the word of the week

The grace of God means something like: “Here is your life. You might never have been, but you are, because the party wouldn’t be the same without you. Here is the world. Beautiful and terrible things will happen. Don’t be afraid. I am with you. Nothing can ever separate us. It’s for you I created the universe. I love you.”

There’s only one catch. Like any other gift, the gift of grace can be yours only if you’ll reach out and take it.

Maybe being able to reach out and take it is a gift too.
