A Celebration of the Life of The Rev. Robert Ellsworth Stevens

The Rev. Rob Stevens, Rector of St. John's (our rector), lost his beloved father on February 9, 2023. This Saturday, April 15, at 2:00PM, we will hold Rob, Jennifer, and Janie Stevens, along with their family, as we celebrate the life of Robert (Bob) Ellsworth Stevens at St. John's (livestream).

During the months of Covid lockdown, Bob starting attending St. John's remotely and never looked back. He has written reflections and worshiped weekly with us for over 3 years. In that time, he and Jane came to love their connection to the St. John's community and gave invaluable support to Rob, our leader and Rector... their baby boy! The world will never. be the same, and we are honored to invite you to a memorial service and festive reception in honor of The Rev. Robert E. Stevens, Sr. Read his full obituary here.

A message from the Receptions Committee:

We will be having a reception after Rob's father's funeral on Saturday, April 15th. We expect it to be very well attended and need your help. We will need a clean up committee and food donations.

The following are items we need:

appetizers, sandwiches, baked goods, veggie trays, fruit trays, cheese and crackers, and any specialty that you would like to provide.
