Liturgy for Palm Sunday

Children are welcome to the lower level of Thaxter Hall for Sunday School & Youth Group beginning at 9:30a. Our service of Holy Eucharist (Rite II) begins at 10a in the sanctuary and online. Today’s service will feature music from the students of The Choir School. Enjoy a community coffee hour in the hall following the service. Young children’s cherub choir meets in the choir room from 11-11:30.

Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week as we approach the Mystery of Easter. This is the most Holy Week of the church year. On these days we honor the journey that Jesus went through in his final days in Jerusalem. The services offer an opportunity for all of us to contemplate Jesus’ ministry, the people whose lives he touched, and how his story is a part of our story.

Holy Eucharist "Rite II" is the version of the liturgy using more modern American language, defined in the current Book of Common Prayer published in 1979.
