Creative Solutions for Affordable Housing

Please come join us on Sunday, April 30th in the Philbrick Room after the 10:00am service for guest speakers and a light lunch. Marty Chapman, Executive Director of the NH Housing Partnership, and Kathleen Paradis, Vice President of Residential Lending of the NH Community Loan Fund, will share how real estate non-profits work to develop and finance affordable housing in the Seacoast area and throughout the state. Each will share successes and describe the challenges faced by organizations seeing to provide workforce and affordable housing in this very costly and competitive environment.

The NH Housing Partnership develops and operates apartment complexes and residential communities throughout the NH and ME Seacoast including Exeter, Rye, Dover, Kennebunk and South Berwick. Marty Chapman, with decades of experience in all aspects of financing and property development, has led the organization since 2007.

New Hampshire Community Loan Fund, established in 1983, uses it investments to make loans to residents of manufactured home parks and resident corporations to buy the land under their houses. Kathleen Paradis, Vice President of Residential Lending, with more than 25 years in traditional banking, provides creative solutions to homeownership financing and support to people with low and moderate income. Since its founding, the Fund has loaned more than $400 million to thousands throughout the state of NH.
