Maundy Thursday
All are welcome to the Sanctuary and online. Our Maundy Thursday includes music and foot-washing. Following the service The Night Watch begins in the Side Chapel to recall how Jesus asked his disciples to say up with him to pray while he awaited arrest.
‘Holy Week’ is the most holy week of the church year. On these days we honor the journey that Jesus went through in his final days in Jerusalem. The services offer an opportunity for all of us to contemplate Jesus’ ministry, the people whose lives he touched, and how his story is a part of our story.
Maundy Thursday and Good Friday evening services will be offered online via live-stream. The Great Vigil of Easter Service on Saturday evening will not be live-streamed this year because it will begin fireside, on the patio of Robert's Hall and migrate into the Sanctuary mid-service. If you are interested in joining us remotely, please re-visit our Great Vigil service from 2022 which follows the same program we will be following in-person.
Additionally, the SpiritBound Digital Mission will have a simple, contemplative service for the Easter Vigil at 5pm this Saturday, April 8th on Facebook Live. Click here for the Easter Vigil Facebook Event.
