Gratitude
The Rev. Rob Stevens
Looking out at a church with people…looking out at Garden with people…Wow!
This Sunday evening my heart is full and my body is tired. This is how it is supposed to be! Thank you all. Today we embarked on our New Beginning. We worshipped at 8am in the church, 9:30 in the Garden at Strawbery Banke (btw, that is the correct spelling) and our virtual offering. This is our worshipping community and ALL are so vital. This past 14 months of distance has been very challenging. I would like to take a moment to simply say a deep heartfelt thank you. This community has held each other up during a most challenging time and I believe we have come through it with connections that are actually stronger and more resilient. Grace abounds and there is much work to do.
If these daily reflections have been as much of a boost to you as they have to me I have a request…keep them coming!! If you have a story of a silver lining, a favorite poem, something that has inspired you please send them to me at rector@stjohnsnh.org. As we enter into this New Beginning I pray that we continue to connect in new and powerful ways. Thank you for your love, prayers, kindness and action. See you in church!
Much Love,
Rob
